Description

Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) – Specialty Care – Day Shift

Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 17:30 (Monday – Friday) | 40 Hours Per Week
- Schedule Notes: May be requested to staff the General Operating Room during periods of low cardiac surgical volume.
- On-Call Protocol: Heavy Call Expectation. 2 to 3 weeknight call shifts per week (spanning 17:30 – 06:00 between regularly scheduled shifts). Every other weekend call required (24 hours on Saturday, 24 hours on Sunday).

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Direct, recent clinical nursing experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) strictly required [HARDSTOP] (6 months – 3+ years of clinical RN experience required).
EMR System Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Academic Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (BSN preferred).
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active New York State RN License strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Preferred Credentials: CCRN, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or unit-specific specialty certifications.
