Description
Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Travel RN)
Shift: Days or Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 Hours
Shift Timing: Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- ICU experience required; neurosurgery experience preferred
- Active Wisconsin or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with craniotomy and external ventricular drains (EVDs) required
- Experience with ICP monitoring or ventriculostomy required
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience required
- Must pass the facility telemetry exam before starting
Additional Details:
- Every other weekend and some holidays required
- Floating required to ICU and intermediate care units as needed
- No block scheduling
- 50-mile radius restriction; local candidates are not accepted
