Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Mandatory clinical experience
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk obstetrics experience
- Circulating experience
- High-acuity experience
- Recent experience within the past year at a high-volume delivery center handling approximately 200–300 deliveries per month
- Multiple completed travel contracts preferred
EPIC STORK experience preferred
Required certifications and documents
- Active Iowa nursing license at submission
- BLS — AHA or American Red Cross accepted
- ACLS — AHA or American Red Cross accepted
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Driver's license
- Resume/work history showing 24 months of current L&D experience
- L&D-specific skills checklist
Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months is preferred
Holiday requirements
- Must work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
- Maximum of one day-off request between November 25–29.
- Maximum of one day-off request between December 23–27.
