Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Travel Contract
📍 Facility: Not specified
🩻 Department: Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology
🕐 Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
📞 Call: Required; frequency not specified
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
🏠 Local Rule: Candidates living within 50 miles are not accepted
💻 EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians.
- Support image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assist with vascular angiography and other special procedures as needed.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and the procedural team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist credential required.
- BLS certification.
- IR or EVOR experience required.
- Cerner experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with general vascular and coronary angiography.
- Special procedures experience.
- Previous catheterization experience.
Holiday Requirements
Must work 2 major holidays from:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
And 1 minor holiday from:
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
