Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Location: Brownwood, TX 76801

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM); every other weekend

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• 2 years of service-line experience required for submission
• Must have some experience working with neonates
• CRT or RRT accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT/RRT
• Sunrise charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• License in hand required at submission
• Certification verification required
• Experience with adult critical care, ED, NICU, and pediatric respiratory care
• Strong skills in ventilator management, ABGs, airway management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments

Description:

• Provide respiratory care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Provide care in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, NICU, and Pediatric Critical Care settings
• Perform airway management, intubation assistance, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and other respiratory equipment
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Administer respiratory medications and aerosol treatments
• Perform oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary hygiene, and chest physiotherapy
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal/pediatric respiratory procedures
• Care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, aspiration, respiratory distress, RSV, cystic fibrosis, and other pulmonary conditions
• Weekend coverage is included
