Job Title: Education Occupational Therapist (OT)

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
• NBCOT Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) certification
• State-required school-based credential or authorization, if applicable
• Occupational therapy degree from an accredited program

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and educational access needs.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions.
• Support fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care, and classroom participation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other service providers.
• Document evaluations, progress, and services in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Participate in student planning meetings and support educational goals through occupational therapy services.
