Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Critical Access Hospital setting. The ideal candidate must have strong clinical skills, extensive EPIC experience, and the flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC.
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards.
• Provide patient and family education and support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Active RN license valid for practice in Hawaii.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Strong EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts.
• Availability for weekends and holidays.
• Medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing experience preferred.
