Description

Job Description: Critical Care RN – Float Pool

Shift: Night Shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: New York
EMR: Epic
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; travel experience required
License: Active NY RN license required at submission
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Local Candidates: Accepted within 75 miles (local rate applies)

Job Requirements:

Must be willing to float to any hospital unit, including ICU, IMCU, ED holds, and Medical-Surgical.
Must be comfortable taking 6–7 patients when floated to Medical-Surgical.
Experience with IABP, CRRT, ventilators, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM preferred.
Patient population includes stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, cardiogenic shock, post-STEMI, trauma, and postoperative surgical cases.
Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Must be willing to float to ED (holds), ICU and IMCU
