Description

Contract: 13 weeks; facility may offer up to 26 weeks (state preference at submission)
Shift: Days, 3×12 hours (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Start/Orientation: Must be available for the first 2 weeks for orientation
Weekend: Every other weekend
Experience: Minimum 1 year; 1.5–2 years preferred
License: Valid Michigan RN license required
Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
EMR: Epic experience preferred
Patient Ratio: Days 1:5; nights 1:6, potentially 1:7–8 with LPN support
Floating: Travelers are first to float; typically to another unit about once per week
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
Local Candidates: Accepted; local rate applies to travelers living within 50 miles
COVID Vaccine: Not required
Flu Vaccine: Required; medical exemptions only
RTO: Maximum 10 days
References: Supervisor-level references required
Submission Requirements: Flu vaccination proof, background/license issues disclosed with a personal statement if applicable, and labs scheduled within 48–72 hours of signing.
