ICU/CCU RN – Night Shift

• Contract: 15 weeks
• Start Date: December 14 (hard start)
• Experience: 2 years required
• EMR: Epic required
• Shift: Nights
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float to DOU, Telemetry, or Med-Tele

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• CPI
• MAB or VIP
• NIHSS

Required Skills:

• FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Multisystem organ failure management
• 12-lead EKGs and ABG interpretation
• IV insulin protocols
• Acute and chronic renal failure management
• Port access, arterial lines, central lines, and PICC line management
• Blood product administration and IV starts
• Continuous IV paralytics, sedation, and procedural sedation
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Hypothermia protocols/Arctic Sun
• BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management
• ETT and nasotracheal suctioning
• Emergency medications
• Infection prevention, isolation precautions, and PPE
• Phlebotomy
• Surgical wounds, drains, and wound vacs
• Assistance with chest tube insertion/removal
• Care of ventilated patients
