PCU RN – Float Pool

Hours: 36 or 48 hrs accepted
Experience: 1–2 years; first-time travelers accepted
Ratio: 1:5
Certs: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
Weekends: 8 shifts per 6-week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun combination)
Floating: Approx. 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU units and other Metro campuses; no home unit
Other Duties: Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed
Required Skills: MS/Tele, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, emergency response, pre/post cardiac cath, sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFib, GIB, stroke, and COVID.
Preferred Skills: Sheath removal, feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, and central line management.
