HIGHLIGHTS:

• Required Certifications: WI or compact RN License, AHA or ARC BLS
• (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Required Education: ADN or BSN
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years required, 1 completed travel assignment required
• Charting Experience: Epic required
• Required Skillset: 2+ years Med Surg, Ortho Experience required
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
• Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, holiday rotation
• Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights
• Float Requirements: to like units. Must be willing to float to Riverview, Plover and Divine Savior
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds medical/surgical (ortho, general, urology, ENT) day/ pm ratio 1:4-5, nights 1:6-7
• 2nd floor 32 beds 3 levels of care ICU/Stepdown/Med-Surg. would take Med/Surg patients only if floated
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
• Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
• Travelers can be put on call for low census hours.
• The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours.
• If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay.
• During Flu Season any traveler that declines to be flu and covid vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times.
• There is no exception to this Aspirus policy. Failure to adhere to the policy will result in corrective action.
