L&D RN
- Experience: Minimum 2.5 years; first-time travelers accepted
- EMR: EPIC required
- Weekend: 4 weekend shifts/month (Friday or Saturday)
- On-Call: 2 times/month, in addition to 3 scheduled shifts; may be placed on call if not needed for a scheduled shift
- Floating: Must float to Perinatal if needed
- Hard Requirements: Recent sterile vaginal exam experience, high-risk patient management, CMQCC Category II algorithm knowledge, and advanced fetal monitoring
- Required Skills: External fetal monitoring, recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and C-section circulation
- Unit: 4 triage rooms, 11 LDR rooms, 2 ORs, NICU, and postpartum; low- and high-risk L&D; OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
- Patient Population: Neonates, adolescents, and adults
- Systems: SBAR, Omnicell, eMD Allscripts
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced
