Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital or Clinic Pharmacy
Shift & Schedule: Day shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements: Work under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Director and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
WA pharmacy tech license OR PTCB,
BLS - AHA Required.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily pharmacy department operations under a licensed pharmacist.
- Order medications and maintain inventory, clean shelves, and organize pharmacy stock.
- Fill prescriptions and dispense medications at the correct dosages.
- Check for patient allergies and potential food or drug interactions.
- Listen to patients’ health concerns and provide appropriate over-the-counter medication guidance within the role’s scope.
