Radiation Oncology Manager – Travel Contract

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Manager to oversee the administrative, clinical, operational, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance functions of a Radiation Oncology department at Berkshire Medical Center.

The selected candidate will provide leadership and supervision for departmental staff, coordinate resource utilization, address staffing and performance management concerns, and ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Radiation Oncology department.
• Manage staffing, resource utilization, and clinical operations.
• Supervise staff and address performance management concerns.
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Support department accreditation requirements, including ACR or ASTRO.
• Maintain strong relationships with physicians, patients, and departmental staff.
• Promote patient safety, privacy, communication, and excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Previous management and supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration required; Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, professional judgment, and excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service and physician relationship skills.
• Active Massachusetts radiology license required at submission.
• Active ARRT Radiation Therapy (T) certification.
• Active ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
