RN – Pediatric Critical Care
- Experience: 2 years required; previous Charge RN experience preferred
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted with required experience
- Certifications: BLS and PALS required; NRP and CRRT preferred
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float to NICU or other units within the nurse’s skill set; orientation provided
- RTO Policy: Up to 3 days accepted; additional requests will be screened. No holiday RTO.
- Scheduling: Permanent staff self-schedule first; travelers schedule according to unit needs.
Required Skills: Pediatric critical care, ENT, general surgery, orthopedic care, pre-/post-op care, breathing treatments, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency ventilators and oscillators, procedural sedation, RSI medications, tracheostomy and ventilator management, blood product administration, CVP monitoring, 12-lead EKGs, drains, epidural/PCA pumps, PICC and central lines, Port-A-Cath and vascular access care, syringe pumps, traction/halo/pin care, triple-lumen catheters, and wound vacs.
