Description
Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Nights 🌙
- 7p–7:30a
- 2 years of acute-care Med/Surg/Tele experience required within the last 3 years
- Required: AHA BLS, active Wisconsin or Compact RN license
- Epic experience required
- Ratio 1:5 nights; 28-bed unit, average census 25+
- Adult/geriatric medical-surgical patients, including pneumonia, diabetes, CHF, infections, alcohol withdrawal, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, and neuro/spine cases
- Must interpret own telemetry strips; insulin, heparin, and PCA drips on the floor
- Telemetry exam required before start; strict pass criteria, up to 3 attempts
- Float to UW Health East Madison and University Hospital inpatient units as needed
- Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed
- Locals within 50 miles not accepted
