RN Med-Surg
Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical | Night Shift
Location: Moab, Utah
Tentative Start Date: November 1, 2026
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a night-shift assignment. This rural hospital offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, from postpartum neonates to geriatric patients, in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.
The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care across medical, surgical, high-acuity, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and pediatric settings. Additional opportunities may include postpartum care, infusion therapy, wound care, and cross-training in the Emergency Department or PACU.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Utah RN license or active compact-state RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications, or ability to obtain them within one year of hire
- Willingness to obtain NRP certification and provide care appropriate to certification within one year of hire
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-safety skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm in stressful situations
Schedule: Night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, following a 7-on/7-off rotation.
