Qualifications and clinical duties
Required certifications and credentials
- NBRC RRT credential and Wisconsin RRT license.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Associate degree or certificate.
- Epic charting experience within the last year.
Experience: Two or more years of acute-care experience preferred.
Clinical responsibilities
- Cover COVID, medical-surgical, and emergency department patients.
- Evaluate and treat respiratory conditions.
- Manage adult airways and ventilators.
- Provide basic pediatric airway and ventilation support in the ED.
- Cross-train and float to ThedaCare Appleton, which has a greater focus on cardiac patients.
