Description
LTC LVN/LPN Travel Assignment
Shift 4 × 12-hour shifts, days or nights
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Alaska nursing license in hand at submission.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Long-term care (LTC) experience required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Community Hospital charting system experience required.
- Strong clinical skills, including feeding tube care, Foley catheterization, glucose monitoring, wound care, oxygen administration, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
Assignment Details
- Facility: Long-term care facility.
- Patient population: Residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, TBI, cognitive impairments, and physical disabilities.
- Floating: May be required within scope, including nearby sister facilities.
- Block scheduling: Not accommodated.
- Local candidates: Not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Scrubs: Any color.
- Parking: Free.
- Transportation: Shuttle provided to and from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the contract; local shuttle available in Seward.
- Food Worker Certification: Required; completed during on-site orientation, with a one-time $10 fee
