Description
RN – OB/L&D (Labor & Delivery)
- Openings: 1 RN – Night Shift
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Unit Type: Combined Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery
- Unit Overview:
- 9-bed LDRP unit
- Dedicated OR suite and PACU on the unit
- 3-bed nursery
- Average Monthly Volume:
- Deliveries: 35
- Outpatient and OB ED visits: 100
- Must-Have Skills/Experience:
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- Must be able to manage patients during labor and provide postpartum care to both the mother and baby after delivery
- Experience working in a combined L&D, postpartum, and nursery unit
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Stable Fetal Monitoring
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Preferred Experience:
- C-section circulator experience preferred but not required
- Delivering Providers:
- 1 OB/GYN
- 2 Family Medicine OBs
- 2 Family Medicine Residents
- 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
- EMR: TruBridge
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: OB OR scrubs provided by the facility
