Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Call: None

Patient Volume: 10–12 patients per day

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Seattle, Washington. This opportunity provides a consistent four-day workweek in an outpatient general cardiology clinic, covering a maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate ED rapid-referral patients and provide general cardiology follow-up care.
• Deliver outpatient general cardiology services.
• Provide backup supervision for stress testing and dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE).

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; cardiology-specific certification is not mandatory.
• Board certification required.
• Active Washington license or IMLC.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA.
• Previous cardiology experience required.
• Hospital privileges required.

Assignment Details

• Full-time schedule: four 10-hour shifts per week.
• 40 hours per week guaranteed.
• No call responsibilities.
• Credentialing timeline: approximately 60–90 days.
• Long-term housing budget: approximately $4,000/month, subject to preapproval.
