Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Cleveland, OH 44109
Duration: 13 + Weeks Extension
Shift Length: 8 hours
Shift Timings: Variable shifts
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM// 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM // 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM // 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM // 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends and holidays required.
On-call availability required.
Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our healthcare team in Cleveland, OH.
- The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of operating room experience and the ability to circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining patient safety and providing high-quality perioperative care.
Responsibilities
- Perform circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
- Plastic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Ophthalmology
- Neurology
- Pediatrics
- Thoracic Surgery
- Robotic Surgery
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment before procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other surgical team members throughout procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols.
- Monitor patient safety and support perioperative care before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient surgical operations.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic medical records and other clinical systems.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and established surgical protocols.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
- Valid and active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- Demonstrated ability to circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.
