Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab to provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to support patients throughout procedural care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall clinical status.
• Assist the procedural team during cardiac catheterization and related interventions.
• Provide nursing care in the holding and recovery areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Cath Lab nursing experience.
• Circulating experience preferred.
• Holding room experience preferred.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus.

Certification Requirements

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications are required.
• RQI certifications are not accepted.

Candidate Eligibility

• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
