Job Description

UNI Healthcare is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician (ST) for an 8-week assignment in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate must have recent experience working in a Level I Trauma Center in a metropolitan area serving a diverse patient population. Candidates must be fully committed to completing the entire 8-week assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technician in a Level I Trauma Center in a metropolitan area.
• Completion of formal Surgical Technician training.
• Active Surgical Technician certification (CST).
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current MAB or CPI certification.
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be issued by the City of Los Angeles).
• Ability to complete LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to starting.
• Must be available for the full 8-week assignment, including weekends and holidays.

Important Assignment Information

• Assignment duration is strictly 8 weeks.
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Requests for 1–2 days off are subject to Nurse Manager approval and are not guaranteed.
• All required certifications and clearances must be completed before the start date.
• Position may close once a qualified candidate is selected.
