Description
Shift & Contract
- Shift: 10-hour evening shifts
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with short call, weekend call, and night call
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours excluded)
- Start Date: ASAP; target date listed as January 2
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN license (must apply for both temporary and permanent licenses).
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Orthopedic OR experience required.
- Surgical scrubbing experience required.
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA.
- Previous EMR experience required.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience.
- Experience working in a teaching hospital.
- Specialty-area expertise.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the operating room.
- Support orthopedic and other surgical procedures, including joint replacements and sports medicine.
Additional Requirements
- COVID and flu vaccinations required; medical exemptions accepted.
- Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.
- Candidates must provide interview availability when submitting.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission.
- Candidates who worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) as permanent or per diem staff within the last year are not eligible.
- Orientation is generally every Monday, except holidays.
