Description

Job Title: RN II – Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST/PCU)

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 guaranteed hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; at least 1 year of Med-Surg experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Charting System: Cerner
Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
Requirements: Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips and pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts. Candidates must be willing to care for both MST/PCU patients and precept nursing students.
Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles. No current or past-year full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities.
Additional Details: Every-other-weekend requirement, holiday rotation, and floating to other units, including PCU, pediatrics (adult MST patients), and Med-Surg Tele. Any scrub color except camouflage.
