Description
🏥 Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU / PICU / Pediatrics
- Shift: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- License: Active Indiana state license required at submission
- Certifications Required: NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS
- NRP: Required for L&D placements; may be obtained after an offer if required by the client
- PALS: Preferred
- Education: CoARC-accredited program and regionally accredited institution recognized by CHEA required
Requirements & Unit Details
- Recent Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years required.
- Candidates with experience at a Level I adult facility may also be considered.
- L&D experience required, as the primary assignment will be in Labor & Delivery.
- NICU or PICU experience required.
- Home unit (NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics) will be assigned at the facility and may change based on facility needs.
- Floating: PICU and some Pediatric Acute Care units.
Holiday Requirements
Travelers must work two of the following three paired holiday blocks:
- November 27–28
- December 24–25
- December 31–January 1
