Description

Dermatology / Clinic LPN

Clinical Requirements

Mandatory: Strong dermatology clinic scribing experience.
Dermatology experience: Minimum 2 years specified; dermatology experience is highly preferred.
Proficiency in dermatology terminology and dot phrases.
Ability to accurately scribe and document skin examinations.
Basic nursing knowledge.
Certifications: BLS for LPNs.
Education must meet applicable nursing board requirements.

Clinical Setting

Outpatient clinics covering:

Dermatology
General Surgery
Plastic Surgery
Urology
Bariatrics and Weight Management

Additional support includes a charge nurse, one CNA per unit, and an in-house laboratory. Floating is limited to the department. APPs handle hospital rounds.

Travel Requirements

First-time travelers are accepted if they have the appropriate skills.
Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility.
Former permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler.
Time off requires supervisor approval.
Holiday expectations are not applicable.
