This assignment includes outpatient clinic, cardiology clinic coverage, electrophysiology patient management, and no on-call or weekend requirements.
 

Locum Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Mayfield Heights OH

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (5×8-hour shifts) or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (4×10-hour shifts)
Start Date: 11/30/2026
End Date: 03/21/2027

Position Details: Outpatient electrophysiology clinic coverage for maternity leave
Patient Population: Established patients, acute patients, and hospital follow-up patients
Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic
Responsibilities: Manage clinic patients and inbox, see acute and established follow-up patients, and provide hospital follow-up care with 30-minute visits
Required Procedures: No procedures required
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Dedicated MA/LPN/RN, RN support for messages, and multiple physicians and APPs
Days Per Month: Monday-Friday; 5×8-hour or 4×10-hour shifts
On-Call/Weekends: No call; no weekend requirements

• Electrophysiology outpatient clinic care
• Management of acute and established patients
• Hospital follow-up care
• Patient inbox and message management

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA) accepted
• Must hold an active Ohio license or qualify through the compact as specified by the facility
• Must meet the facility's vaccination requirement
• Local candidates only for telemedicine services, if applicable
