Travel Surgical Technologist (ST)

Schedule Three 12-hour shifts per weekQualifications

Required

• Unrestricted Colorado Surgical Technologist license, or ability to obtain it before starting.
• Orthopedic (ortho) surgical experience.
• Da Vinci surgical robot experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), which may be obtained upon hire.
• Ability to work safely in a low-oxygen environment at approximately 8,000 feet elevation.

Preferred

• At least 2 years of recent operating room experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential: NBSTSA CST or NCCT TS-C.
• Spanish-English bilingual skills.

Main job responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and surgical instruments.
• Prepare the operating room and supplies for each procedure.
• Follow AORN standards and maintain patient safety during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other perioperative team members.
• Restock and order departmental supplies.
• Provide additional patient-care support as directed.
