EP Tech – Electrophysiology Technician

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts
• Experience: 1–2 years required in the job details; 2 years listed in the qualifications section
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Weekend: Every 5th weekend
• On-call: Yes — short call for 4 hours at the end of a shift, once per week
• Guaranteed Hours: Not clearly specified; on-call hours do not count toward the guaranteed minimum

Required Certifications / Credentials

• ACLS
• BLS
• ARRT(R) or CCI RCES / RCIS — listed in the qualifications; confirm which credentials are accepted for this specific EP Tech role.
• Fluoroscopy permit and CET are also listed; confirm which are mandatory.
• Minnesota license: license in hand preferred; otherwise, the candidate must apply through the agency’s Minnesota licensing process after accepting an offer.

Required Skills & Experience

• EP studies and invasive diagnostic/interventional electrophysiology procedures.
• Cardiac ablations using Affera pulsed-field ablation (PFA) and Biosense Webster RF ablation systems.
• Pacemaker and ICD insertions.
• Hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems.
• Sterile technique, room circulation, and scrubbing.
• Experience with cardiac anatomy and the normal conduction system.

Preferred: Epic/Excellian charting experience and community hospital experience.
