Description
Title: RN – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Brownwood, TX 76801
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid shift, 4x12 hours (2:00 PM–2:00 AM). The 4th shift may be 12:00 PM–12:00 AM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM.
Requirements:
- 2 years of ER/RN experience required
- Previous travel experience required (preferred per compliance notes)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- Active RN license must be in hand at submission
- Altera/Allscripts experience preferred
- Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care
- 1:4 patient ratio
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only
Description:
- Provide emergency nursing care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, performing triage, assessments, and timely interventions for acute and critical conditions.
- Manage cardiac emergencies, dysrhythmias, stroke, STEMI, respiratory distress, trauma, and psychiatric emergencies, including monitoring and emergency medication administration.
- Perform IV therapy, central line care, blood product administration, EKGs, splinting, and procedural sedation monitoring, while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
