Inpatient Pharmacist – Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy staffing experience required.
• License: Wisconsin Pharmacist License required; must be active at submission.
• Certification: BLS (AHA) required.
• Preferred Certification: BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).
• Clinical Skills Required:
  • Vancomycin AUC dosing
  • Aminoglycoside dosing
  • Heparin dosing and monitoring
  • TPN management and monitoring
  • Understanding of USP 797 sterile compounding standards
• IV Room: Hands-on IV room experience is not required, but must understand sterile preparation and be able to oversee pharmacy technicians.

Clinical Coverage

Must be comfortable supporting multiple hospital departments, including ICU, IMC, Emergency Department, Med/Surg, Cardiothoracic OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, Central Pharmacy, and IV Room.

• Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week assignment.
