50-70% Ortho or Ortho-Spine, 30% general - Gyn, ENT, Urology.

Avg Max Ratio/Caseload:

30-40 cases per day with 10 operating rooms

Minimum Experience and Certification Required:

• 2 + years of experience required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Facility Info:

This is a very nice, organized, and well-kept facility. I don't think we have ever had a single complaint from a traveler who has worked here! We have even had several travelers decide to become perm employees here (not required whatsoever.)  

Scheduled days of the week will not always be the same, they will need to be flexible.

On-Call Policy:

The on-call requirement is up to 3-4 call shifts per month; the traveler can pick up more if desired. Including one weekend a month.

1. Weekday call shift period hours are 1700-0500 (12 hours, Monday through Friday, occasional surgical schedule variability may impact end time, as well).
2. Weekend call shifts period hours are 0500-0500 (24 hours, Saturday-Sunday).
3. Response Time 30 min

On-Call Pay Rate: $4.00/hr

Nursing Skills Preferred:

• Ortho-Spine, Ortho, General, Gyn, Urology, and ENT.  Spine and ortho preferred. 

Desired personality:
 

• We need a person who is hard working, kind, and works well in a fast-paced OR.  Someone who is willing to lend a hand and be a team player anytime there is a need. 

Common Procedures:

• Spine-ALIF, LLIF, PSIF, ACDF, Posterior Cervical, Laminectomy and decompressions.
• Ortho- Total Joints, sports medicine
• General- Laparoscopic bowel resections, Roux- En- Y,  hernias, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and mastectomies.
• Gyn- Hysterectomies, endometriosis, anterior and posterior repairs, ablations, D&C's.
• ENT- fusions, Thyroidectomy, Inspires, various sinus surgeries.
