X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist:

Location: Akron Campus, 141 N. Forge St., Akron, OH 44304
Contract Dates: November 15, 2026 – February 13, 2027
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Trauma Experience: Level I Trauma hospital experience required
Interview: Required
Maximum RTO: 7 days

Job Description:

The facility is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician/Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in a busy Level I Trauma hospital environment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in radiographic procedures, patient positioning, equipment operation, and patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with, or eligible for registration with, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Must hold an active Ohio Radiographer license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience working in a Level I Trauma hospital is mandatory.
• Training and competency to perform additional radiology procedures, including selected CT procedures.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Ability to calibrate and operate radiology equipment, position patients correctly, and apply or adjust restraining devices when appropriate.
• Ability to lift and reposition patients safely.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems, radiology systems, and electronic filing systems.
• Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care to individuals with diverse needs.
