Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. The RN will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications and treatments, assess patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience using the Philips telemetry monitoring system.
• Must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Orthopedic nursing experience.
• Acute care nursing experience.
• PCRN or CCRN certification.
• Critical care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal findings.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support staffing needs by floating to other UCSF facilities when required.
