Description
RN Med Surg (Travel) | Albany, GA | 36hrs or 48hrs -12s Days
Job Title: RN – Med Surg (Travel)
Openings: 4
Contract Length: 17 weeks (option for extension may be available), Every Other Weekend
Start Date: October 26, 2026 or as soon as cleared
Shift: Days & Nights | 3x12 or 4x12s | 7a–7:30p &p-7:30a (12-hour shifts)
Pay Package (Weekly)
- Travel Pay: $23.75/hr + $1,246 non-taxable stipend
- Weekly Gross: 36hrs’s $2,038/week or 48’s $2,596/week
- OT Pay Rate: $50/hr (when applicable)
Unit + Clinical Details
- Specialty/Unit: Med Surg
- Beds/Staff: 44 beds | ~40 staff
- Ratios: 1:5 (may go 1:6) days & nights
- EMR: Meditech (preferred, not required)
- Tele: Yes (monitored on a different unit)
- Floating: Yes — to acute care, cardio (medical patients), and ED for acute-care patient holds
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: As needed
- Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
- Orientation: 1 week (includes EMR training) + 2 days unit orientation
Requirements
- Experience: 1 year RN Med Surg experience (and 1 travel assignment per job notes)
- Certs:
- BLS (AHA required)
- NIHSS (AHA required)
