🏥 Assignment Highlights

• Work in a specialized outpatient infusion unit serving adult and geriatric patients.
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric.
• Local and travel candidates are accepted.
• 75-mile radius rule applies. Local candidates will be considered at the local rate.

🩺 Your Role

• Administer prescribed infusions and medications in an outpatient setting.
• Provide care for patients with oncology, neurological, gastrointestinal, anemia, and other conditions.
• Administer blood products safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate infusion equipment, including Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document care accurately.
• Use EPIC and other unit technology to support patient care.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Float as required by the facility.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active RN license appropriate for the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Chemotherapy certification.
• Experience administering blood products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion environment.

Systems: EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer

Equipment:

• Alaris infusion pumps
• Elastomeric pumps

• Other medical conditions requiring infusion therapy

📋 Important Contract Requirements

• The 75-mile radius rule applies.
• Local candidates are eligible at the applicable local rate.
• Floating may be required.
• Daily overtime applies after 24 hours, and weekly overtime applies after 48 hours, according to the specified contract terms.
