Schedule

• 6:30 a.m.–5 p.m. | 4x10s.
• 36 guaranteed hours/week.
• Weekday call: 2–3 nights, 7 p.m.–6:30 a.m., second call; frequency period needs confirmation.
• Weekend call approximately every 4–5 weeks, Friday at 7 p.m. through Monday at 6:30 a.m. Rotate first and second call every 12 hours.
• 2-hour callback minimum.

Requirements

• 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• Competency in diagnostic, interventional, and structural heart procedures.
• Previous travel experience required; no first-time travelers.
• Skilled in circulating, moderate sedation, assessments, medication administration, and pre/post-procedure care.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Active WV RN or compact license before start; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Listed workload: 8–10 cases daily per tech.
• Cerner charting.
• Scrubs provided and free traveler parking.
• 100-mile radius rule; candidates 75–99 miles away may receive facility approval at the same rate.

Submission & Compliance

• Include all RTO at submission.
• Two manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required.
• Full compliance file due Monday at noon before start; incomplete documentation may delay start by 2 weeks.
• Orientation held every other Thursday.
• Former permanent employees require 2 years of separation.
• Current Vandalia Health employees, including PRN, are ineligible for travel assignments within the system.
• Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions only. COVID vaccination not required.
