Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: Aspirus Wausau, Wausau, WI

Position Overview
Aspirus Wausau is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. Candidates must have at least three years of MRI experience, hands-on GE MRI system experience, and proficiency operating both GE 1.5T and GE 3T scanners.
Radius Requirement
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau.
- This radius rule expires October 29, 2026.
Schedule Requirements
- Monday–Thursday, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Call rotation every other week, limited to Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
- Weekend coverage is generally not required but may be scheduled occasionally.
- Holiday coverage may be required as needed.
Floating Requirements
The technologist may be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations based on staffing and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience.
- Hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment.
- Ability to operate both GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI scanners.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Current ARRT(MR) certification.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
