Description:**Type of patients on the unit: Cardiac and Telemetry **Is not Stepdown unit
SHIFT: NIGHTS 7PM - 7AM
REQUIRED - Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
BLS certification via AHA required
ACLS certification via AHA required
RN License in state of employment or compact
Weekend Requirement - Every other weekend
On Call Requirement - No call
Nurse / Patient Ratio5:1-6:1 depending on staffing
EMR Used: Epic
Dress Code Ceil blue scrubs
Summary:ThecompetentNurse,inthesameorsimilarclinicalsetting,practicesindependentlyanddemonstratesanawarenessofallrelevantaspectsofasituation.
Providesroutineandcomplexcare,withtheabilitytoonlong-rangegoalsorplans.
Continuestodeveloptheabilitytocopewithandmanagecontingenciesofclinicalnursing.Makesappropriateassignmentsanddelegatestoothercareprovidersasameanstohelpmanagetheclinicalsituation.
