Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift
A healthcare organization in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a CVOR Technician for a permanent, full-time opportunity. Position Overview
Permanent, full-time role
30 hours per week
Day shift
3 × 10-hour shifts
Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required
Float Expectations: Team members are expected to float within the Department of Surgery as needed.
Shift Details
Day shift schedule consisting of three 10-hour shifts per week.
Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations is required.
Compensation & Incentives
Hourly Pay: $27.26–$38.48 per hour, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $11,250 with a 2-year commitment
Relocation Assistance:
- $1,500 for eligible candidates relocating 100–399 miles
- $2,250 for eligible candidates relocating 400+ miles

Key Responsibilities
Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular operating room procedures.
Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team.
Support patient positioning and ensure appropriate surgical supplies and equipment are available.
Collaborate with the surgical services team to promote efficient operating room workflows.
Float within the Department of Surgery as required.
Participate in scheduled on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations.
Requirements
CVOR Technician qualifications and experience appropriate for the position.
Relevant surgical technology credentials and certifications as required by the employer.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Willingness to participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations and float within the Department of Surgery.
