RN Cardiac, Pulmonary
Overview
- Travel RN role in Critical Care Step-Down
- 3 openings
- 7p-7a shift
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Work every other weekend for 24 hours
- No call requirements
- 13-week contract
- 1st to float
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg experience
- Experience with Meditech
Preferred
- Post cardiac cath care
- Peritoneal Dialysis
Unit Details
- Floor: CCSD
- Trauma Level: 3
- 22 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Patient population: 18-year-old and up
Additional Notes
- Must know Meditech
- Equipment includes cardiac monitors, suction, O2, and vital sign machines
- Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiac, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, CHF exacerbation, post-op, and CIWA
- Scrub color: Navy blue
