Job Description: 
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a six-bed Medical Observation Step-Down Unit (MOSU).

The unit cares for complex medical and post-surgical patients, including patients recovering from cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), as well as patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), acute kidney injury (AKI), and unstable cardiac arrhythmias.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills, advanced monitoring experience, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a dynamic clinical environment. Flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Step-Down, and Observation units is required.

Required Clinical Experience and Skills
Critical care nursing experience.
Initiation, titration, and management of vasopressors, thrombolytics, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, and sedative medications.
Mechanical ventilator management.
Hemodynamic monitoring.
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
Sepsis management.
Central line and arterial line management.
Chest tube management.
Blood product administration.
Care of complex medical and post-surgical patients.
Post-cardiac catheterization and post-PCI patient care.
