Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts; 48 hours may be approved
Duration: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
Beds: 42 in the PCU/Stepdown unit
Floating: May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors if overstaffed
Weekends: Every other weekend

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience
First-time travelers accepted
Epic experience required
Hands-on experience managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is a hard requirement
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Charge experience preferred
