Required Qualifications

• Experience: General critical care/ICU nursing experience required. No minimum years specified.

Required Clinical Skills

• Medical, cardiac surgical, and neuro-trauma ICU nursing.
• Mechanical ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.
• Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, analgesics, and metabolic drips.
• Cardiac surgical recovery, including CABG and TAVR patients.
• Stroke, neurological injury, trauma, and post-operative surgical care.
• Respiratory failure, DKA, renal failure, and post-cardiac arrest management.
• Independent telemetry interpretation and 12-lead EKGs.
• Ability to float between different ICU specialties and lower-acuity units.

Submission & Compliance Requirements

• License: Must have active state RN license at submission.
• Radius Rule: 60-mile radius; driver's license required with submission.
• Interview: Clinical team interviews candidates before extending an offer.
• Orientation: Must be in state during orientation week, even if initial modules are remote.
• Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter contracts.

Biggest Submission Deal-Breakers

• Missing AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, or NIHSS.
• No active RN license for the assignment state at submission.
• Unable to independently interpret telemetry or perform 12-lead EKGs.

• Unable to meet the heavy weekend requirement.
• Unable to attend orientation in state.
