Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ECMO experience to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to critically ill patients and assist with ECMO management and advanced life-support procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to critically ill adult patients.
- Monitor and support patients receiving ECMO therapy.
- Manage ventilators and provide oxygen therapy.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation.
- Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway management.
- Administer respiratory medications and nebulizer treatments.
- Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning.
- Monitor patients and respond to respiratory emergencies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience.
- At least 1 year of ECMO Specialist experience.
- RRT certification required.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Active state license required by the start date.
- Epic experience required.
- Adult critical care experience required.
- Experience with VV ECMO and CardioHelp preferred.
