• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse
• Shift: Night, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13
• Patient Visits: Approximately 310 per day
• Beds: 64
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 24 hours

Requirements

• Minimum 2.5 years of ED experience
• Experience in a large Level II Trauma Center is mandatory
• High-volume ER experience (90,000+ annual visits) preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet the experience requirement
• Active California RN license required at submission
• Previous permanent employees at the facility are not eligible

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• PALS
• CPI and TNCC are also listed in the qualifications

Required Skills

• Emergency care for adults and pediatric patients
• Trauma, head injuries, gunshot wounds, and spinal cord injuries
• Stroke and STEMI management
• Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP, and central line management
• IV starts, triage, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Blood product administration and procedural sedation

Scheduling

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend work as required by the department
• No on-call requirement
• No routine floating requirement listed, but floating within the hospital may be required based on patient census.

Time Off and Policies

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application.
• No additional time-off requests after submission.
• Holiday time off is not guaranteed.
• Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccine not required.
