Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist / Cath Lab Tech
Location: Dothan, AL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Requirements:
- Previous Interventional Radiology experience required.
- Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures.
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program or credentialed as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
- Experience with adult diagnostic angiography, catheter-based procedures, percutaneous biopsies, and fluoroscopy.
- Ability to function as a scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments.
- Knowledge of sheath insertion, groin sealant, radiation safety, and interventional equipment.
- On-call required: approximately 9–11 days per month, including one week every four weeks and 2–4 additional backup days per month.
- Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification.
- New travelers are welcome.
- No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions considered.
- Flu vaccination required; no exemptions accepted.
- Block scheduling is not available.
